Getting started with MAC Dictation

The MAC's inbuilt MAC Dictation tool can be a useful tool.

Turn on Dictation

  • Go to System Preferences.
  • Click on 'Keyboard'.
  • Click on 'Dictation'.
  • Next to the word 'Dictation', select 'On'.
  • Check 'Use Enhanced Dictation'

Dictation Shortcuts

  • Function + Function = Start dictating
  • Function = Stop dictating
