Podcast: Climate Talks

Climate Talks

Join hosts Professor Jackie Peel and Dr Cathy Oke as they bring you the information you need to know on climate action as we head towards the 2022 Australian federal election and beyond to COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh.

In each episode, they interview experts to discuss different climate-related topics, including adaptation, climate finance and carbon markets, how global biodiversity and climate frameworks fit together, the involvement of  non-state actors in climate discussions, and the relationship between COVID-19 and climate.

Below, you can revisit episodes from Season 1 in 2022, which documented the lead up to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference – or COP26 – in Glasgow in November.

Climate Talks is produced by Melbourne Climate Futures and Melbourne Centre for Cities at the University of Melbourne.
