Established in 1987, the Alumni Association of the University of Melbourne Hong Kong Chapter (AAUMHK) was the first overseas alumni association branch of the University. The association is run by a group of volunteers to provide opportunities for social networking and professional development through various events and gatherings organised in Hong Kong. The association is committed to engaging the wide generations of Melbourne graduates across different disciplines and professions to foster a strong alumni network in Hong Kong.

Iris Tsao, President
Iris Tsoi graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Japanese. After that she completed a Master of Social Science in Social Work at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and now is a Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong. Iris is passionate about serving the Alumni community. She has been joining the committee team since 2016
Stella Chiu, Vice President
Stella graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance and Marketing from The University of Melbourne in 2010. Since then, she has been working in the investor relations and corporate communications field. She is now the Vice President of Investor Relations at an Asian hedge fund with responsibility for all external activities, including investor relationship management, sales & business development, corporate branding and event management. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and ideas that create value in day-to-day life. Stella has been on the Hong Kong division of the University of Melbourne Alumni committee since 2015.
Joanne Lau, Vice-President
Graduated with a biomedical background, Joanne has ventured into clinical trial. Her work involves working with global clinical trials and she also works as a freelance medical writer.
Dick Tang, Treasurer
Dick graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance in 2008. After that, he earned a Master of Science in Information and Technology Management in Hong Kong. He holds two professional qualifications in HKICPA and CPA Australia. He has over 10 years of accounting experience specializing in restructuring and forensics accounting. He is currently a Manager at one of the big four accounting firms in Hong Kong. He joined the committee in late 2018.
Vincent Li, Secretary
Vincent Li graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Economics. After that, he has been joining Prudential and providing personal financial consultation since 2014. He joined the AAUM committee team since 2016 and organised different kinds of activities for the alumni.
