Established in 1987, the Alumni Association of the University of Melbourne Hong Kong Chapter (AAUMHK) was the first overseas alumni association branch of the University. The association is run by a group of volunteers to provide opportunities for social networking and professional development through various events and gatherings organised in Hong Kong. The association is committed to engaging the wide generations of Melbourne graduates across different disciplines and professions to foster a strong alumni network in Hong Kong.

Phemie graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science in 2011. After returning to her hometown of Hong Kong, she pursued a career in the aviation industry and completed an MBA degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently Business Development Manager at HAECO Group, a leading aircraft engineering and maintenance group headquartered in Hong Kong. Phemie joined the alumni association as a general member in 2012 and became an active committee member since 2015. She is experienced in event management, marketing and communication, and external relationship management for the association.
Stella graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance and Marketing from The University of Melbourne in 2010. Since then, she has been working in the investor relations and corporate communications field. She is now the Vice President of Investor Relations at an Asian hedge fund with responsibility for all external activities, including investor relationship management, sales & business development, corporate branding and event management. She is passionate about entrepreneurship and ideas that create value in day-to-day life. Stella has been on the Hong Kong division of the University of Melbourne Alumni committee since 2015.
Graduated with a biomedical background, Joanne has ventured into clinical trial. Her work involves working with global clinical trials and she also works as a freelance medical writer.
Dick graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and finance in 2008. After that, he earned a Master of Science in Information and Technology Management in Hong Kong. He holds two professional qualifications in HKICPA and CPA Australia. He has over 10 years of accounting experience specializing in restructuring and forensics accounting. He is currently a Manager at one of the big four accounting firms in Hong Kong. He joined the committee in late 2018.
Harry Guo, Treasurer
Harry Guo is a senior auditor in the Hong Kong office of KPMG. He graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors degree in Finance) in 2014. He has been working in financial services audit of KPMG in Hong Kong since 2016. He joined the Hong Kong division of the University of Melbourne Alumni committee in 2018.
Iris Tsio, Secretary
Iris Tsoi graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Japanese. After that she completed a Master of Social Science in Social Work at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and now is a Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong. Iris is passionate about serving the Alumni community. She has been joining the committee team since 2016.
