About

The University of Melbourne Guangdong Alumni Association (UOMGAA) was founded in 2013 as an informal alumni group, led by Junhao Zhang. In 2017, the group became known as the Guangdong Alumni Network, then in 2023, it became officially affiliated with the University as the Guangdong Alumni Association. The association is committed to creating a robust social platform for alumni in the region.

Over the course of a decade, the group has grown from eight members to establishing connections with thousands of University of Melbourne alumni in South China. Each year, the association organises various events to meet alumni needs in business collaborations, career development, life planning, and social networking.
