  • I’d like to update my contact details

    You can update your contact information such as postal address, email and phone number by logging into your account on the University of Melbourne secure portal.

  • I’d like to order an Academic Transcript or other documentation

    Academic Transcripts and other official University documents such as Evidence of Qualification, Evidence of Enrolment or a new Testamur may be ordered online via Academic Services.

    If you have ordered a transcript or other document and need to enquire about the status of your order you will need to contact Stop 1. The Alumni Office is unable to provide information on the status of your order.

    If you require a proof of academic record which is not available for purchase via Academic Services you will need to contact Stop 1.

    The Alumni Office is unable to provide any evidence of academic records.

  • I’d like to set up an alumni account

    Your account on the University of Melbourne secure portal will allow you to easily update your contact details, subscribe to the library e-journals and access other benefits available to the University of Melbourne alumni. If you don’t have an account you can set one up here.

    If you need help setting up your account on the secure portal, you can access these instructions.

  • I have forgotten the password for my University of Melbourne secure portal account

    If you have an existing account on the University of Melbourne secure portal and have forgotten your password you can reset it by clicking on the Forgot Password? option.

  • How can I find my alumni ID or student ID?

    You can find your alumni ID in the footer of your Alumni News email or any other event or news communications we have sent to you. If you are unable to locate your ID please contact our office.

    Please contact Stop 1 with any enquiries regarding your student ID. The Alumni Office cannot provide this to you.

  • I need to access my student email account

    Please note that the University provides access to some systems for up to 12 months after you complete your course. After that, your access to University systems such as your student Gmail account will be deactivated. This includes any email forwarding arrangements set up on your University email account.

  • I would like to unsubscribe from alumni mailings

    We’re sorry to hear that. If you would like to unsubscribe from our email communications please click the unsubscribe link found in the footer of all our email communications. This will allow you to unsubscribe from all emails or selected communications.

    If you would like to unsubscribe from postal mailings, please submit your request via our contact form.

  • I’d like to access library resources e.g. ejournals

    You can subscribe to the eJournal service for $20 annually via the University of Melbourne secure portal.

    If you have any questions about the content of the electronic journals please contact or visit the eJournals page. Alumni are also eligible for discount library membership.

  • What benefits or opportunities are available to alumni?

    Access to digitised handbooks is via the Digitised collections site with many earlier handbooks available in the handbook archives.

  • My employer needs a confirmation of study

    Degree details of University of Melbourne alumni can be verified instantly at the Verification of Qualification site.

  • I would like to study at the University of Melbourne
