Alumni-led reunion information
Don’t see a reunion for your cohort this year? Why not host your own! The Alumni Relations team are ready to ensure the success of your event and have information on how to best organise your get-together. Alumni-led reunions are often held during milestone years and are initiated by an individual alum or group of alumni, with support from the Alumni Relations team.
Get together with your fellow classmates
Use your personal networks or search for alumni on LinkedIn to reconnect with former classmates. Find out if they are interested in attending a reunion event or being a co-organiser.
Select a date and venue
When selecting a date, ensure you have enough time for planning and are providing enough notice for your classmates. If you need support deciding on a venue, please reach out to us – we are happy to provide suggestions.

Once you have decided on a date to hold your reunion, complete the Alumni-led Reunions Support Request Form and we will be in touch to help you plan your event.

We can provide the below to support you in coordinating your upcoming event:
- A class list for your graduating year
- Delivery of a ‘save the date’ and/or invitation via email on your behalf to all relevant alumni we have contact details for
- Promotion of your reunion on the University’s website
- Advice around venues on campus and suggested dates
- Advice on photography, entertainment and other supplier recommendations
- Templates to assist with planning your event such as checklists and run sheets.

Here’s what you’ll need to do ahead of your event:
- Event organisation and serving as the main point of contact for your reunion
- Decide on key details such as venue, date and time
- Venue hire and catering
- Attendee registration management
- Provide the Alumni Relations team with your event information for the email communications
- Budget management - Manage ticket income and supplier invoices
- Booking other suppliers such as a photographer, photobooth, musician, etc.

The University is unable to give out alumni contact information due to our privacy policy. However, if we have their contact details in our database, we can reach out to them on your behalf and let them know you would like to get in touch.
