Seven Zhu Alumni Council Member

As a proud graduate of the University of Melbourne, Seven is the first in her family to attend university. Born and raised in China, her personal journey has been deeply shaped by these experiences, and she is passionate about contributing to an inclusive and supportive alumni community.

Currently, Seven is preparing to join the TouchBase Peer Support Group at Origin Energy, a program that provides mental health support to colleagues. In addition, she is actively learning through a TAFE mental health course, which equips her with valuable skills to work with and support diverse people.

These experiences are helping Seven develop empathy, responsibility, and leadership – skills that align with the Alumni Council's mission. Additionally, she is excited to contribute to its efforts in celebrating diversity and inclusion.

With her background in data and technology, along with five years of mentoring STEM students, Seven has developed a unique set of skills to foster collaboration and support alumni. She looks forward to contributing to the Alumni Council, enriching the University's global network, and advancing its commitment to diversity.
