Hendro is deeply dedicated to the University of Melbourne and its alumni community. As president of the University of Melbourne Alumni Association in Indonesia from 2017-2021, he led impactful events that connected alumni, fostering professional growth and stronger ties to the university.

With a Bachelor of Commerce (2000) and a Master of Education (2005) from the University of Melbourne, Hendro’s academic experiences have been pivotal in shaping his leadership and educational philosophy. Currently, he serves as Superintendent of Bina Bangsa Schools, overseeing six campuses across Indonesia, and as president of the Association of National and Private Schools in Indonesia. His leadership roles have deepened his commitment to education and building meaningful communities.

These experiences allow Hendro to bring valuable insights and energy to the Alumni Council, strengthening global alumni connections, fulfilling his desire to give back to the institution that played a crucial role in his journey. He aims to create opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and global partnerships, helping alumni engage more deeply with the University. Through these efforts, he hopes to ensure the University of Melbourne remains a leading force in education for generations to come.
