"What I like about working in Advancement is – the people I work with come from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. Everyone is willing to share their culture (like Harmony Day afternoon tea) and bounce their ideas off each other. As a UoM alum, I am also proud to be in a workplace where I can contribute to deepening connections with our international alumni community."

"Initially joining the Advancement team in 2018, I later moved to another team in 2020. Despite hesitations after parental leave, the Hiring Manager's openness to part-time work allowed me to rejoin the Advancement team in October 2022. The exceptional support from managers and understanding colleagues has made balancing work and family responsibilities a positive experience."

— Stephanie Murray, Project Manager, Office of the Vice President

Impact of our work

Great things happen thanks to the work done by every member of the Advancement team. You could help researchers find a new treatment for cancer, support innovative solutions to the climate crisis or create scholarships to widen participation among disadvantaged students.
