Events at Old Quad
Centrally located within the University of Melbourne’s Parkville Campus, the Old Quad is one of the oldest buildings on campus and the cultural heart of the University. The building is used to showcase the University’s extensive collection items through curated exhibitions on the ground floor spaces, and hosting events of University significance in the Level 1 spaces.
Old Quad is available for booking by University of Melbourne faculties and requires endorsement from a member of the University Executive. Requests from external organisations can only be considered with the specific endorsement of the Chancellor or Vice-Chancellor.

How to Book the Old Quad for Events
The events team in the Museums & Collections Department are available to advise on room availability, assess suitability of space, facilitate site visits, building access for event organisers, and overseeing the security and OH&S requirements of the building.
