AI, Ethics and the Law
Overview
Taught by staff from the Centre for AI and Digital Ethics, as well as our co-director Professor Jeannie Patterson, this subject employs interdisciplinary perspectives to investigate AI, ethics and the law.
Developing sound ethical, policy and legal responses to AI requires expertise from technical fields such as maths, computer science and engineering, as well as social sciences such as sociology, psychology, criminology, history and philosophy.
This subject develops skills in reading and analysing interdisciplinary material in the context of a developing field of academic thought and debate.
