Recently retired, Geoff has been an executive, strategist and advisor with a strong public sector policy background, working in a public environment with either a strategic or operational focus. Geoff’s leadership style emphasises organisation, knowledge, teamwork, partnership, engagement, risk management and planning – principles developed during 39 years in the Victorian public sector for State and local governments.
Using these skills, Geoff built a local and international profile as an innovator in cities policy, which was recognised through the award of the Public Service Medal on Australia Day 2016.
Geoff is strongly driven by values of honesty, integrity, empathy, accountability, sustainability and reciprocity.
Geoff has significant experience in city planning, local government, senior management, strategy, policy and engagement.
