About

The University of Melbourne Alumni in Japan (UMAJ) was established in 1998 with 12 members to provide a focal point and foster communication between alumni of the University of Melbourne who either reside in Japan or are citizens of Japan. It also undertakes activities for the benefit of its members in consideration of their shared status as alumni of the University of Melbourne. There are currently about 620 members, and alumni committee offices in Tokyo and Osaka.
