Naomi comes from a line of University of Melbourne graduates. Naomi was at the University of Melbourne from 1989 until 1997 and received BE (Hons), BSc (Biomed) and MEng Sc. She works as a Traffic, Transport and Road Safety Engineer and tutor. Naomi is a committee member of Australasian College of Road Safety, Space Association of Australia and Melbourne Museum. Naomi has done research in medicine as well as engineering, and has collaborated with worldwide researchers while working at NASA.

Being a woman in engineering is tough and I mentor students to achieve their dreams. Naomi has qualifications in Adolescent Counselling and Education Support and advocate for those with diversity.

Naomi has experience in funding applications and fundraising. She has presented at international conferences and written several research papers in engineering thus can assist the University to gain more recognition. Naomi has represented the Lord Mayor of Melbourne, the Premiere, and Ministers of Transport and Road Safety.

Her experience in medicine, engineering and education will enable her to assist this University with connecting to students, customers and stakeholders to achieve the best results for University of Melbourne and its students and staff.

Naomi believes she can make a difference for all.
