Lulu is an aspiring public health practitioner studying a Master of Public Health. She is committed to advancing health equity across diverse communities. She recently led a small team to rural Cambodia to deliver a community-centred health promotion project.

Lulu works as an outreach officer supporting international students. She is the inaugural co-chair of the Council of Academic Public Health Institutions Australasia Student Network, and a Westpac Australia-Asia Fellow. This work sparked her interest in food security, and in how climate change, cost of living and structural inequity shape health.

In the Fellowship, she aims to explore food insecurity through the intersections of culture and sustainability, and develop a project that celebrates culturally diverse approaches to nutritious and sustainable food.

Outside of study and work, Lulu enjoys staying active, learning languages, and travelling whenever she gets the chance.
