Stuart Henshall (he/him)
Doctor of Medicine
Stuart is currently studying a Doctor of Medicine with a background in Geography that has led him to the intersection of health and the environment. He is interested in understanding how health can be an avenue to engage people in climate action and how to reform our healthcare system to abide by its duty of care to individuals and the environment.
Stuart is the Co-Chair of the Doctors for Environment student group at the University of Melbourne and led the completion of the inaugural Planetary Health Report Card at University of Melbourne. He has previous experience volunteering in programs on education for sustainable development at university campuses across the globe.
Growing up in the Adelaide Hills, he is passionate about conservation and life in the outdoors. A sense of exploration is central to time away from studies, and most weekends Stuart can be found on the trails running or hiking.
