Sarah is pursuing a PhD in Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), focusing on the intersection of HRI and Information Visualisation. Her research aims to push the boundaries of human-centred risk communication to support transparency, safety and assisted decision-making. Sarah also holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Masters degree in Human Factors from TU Berlin, where she discovered her passion for human-centred technologies.

Sarah's professional journey spans product development, marketing, and UX, complemented by teaching experience and research work on projects like reducing mercury emissions and integrating sustainability into curricula. "Whatever role I take on, I always strive to integrate sustainability," she emphasises. This commitment is evident in her current position as Sustainability Chair for the 2025 International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction.

Personally, Sarah enjoys walking everywhere on foot, reading a good fantasy book, exploring the outdoors, and being creative. She believes in the power of collaboration and mutual support to achieve our collective goals.
