Hannah is completing the Doctor of Medicine and is particularly passionate about women’s health and rural health. Through the Wattle Fellowship, she is excited to explore the intersection between climate change, human health, and healthcare delivery; particularly to deepen her understanding of the systemic change necessary to make healthcare sustainable.

Hannah was a founding member of her high school’s environment committee in Far North Queensland. Following receipt of a Melbourne National Merit Scholarship, she relocated to Melbourne to pursue tertiary education. Hannah is keenly engaged in university student life, and particularly enjoys volunteering with the UMMSS Peer Tutoring program.

Most recently, Hannah was an Academic Day Convenor for the 2024 University of Melbourne MD Student Conference. She pioneered a 14-session academic program themed Medicine in the Anthropocene, which explored sustainable healthcare, climate change and human health, and climate advocacy in medicine.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys running with her cocker spaniel Remy, reading, social netball, and the occasional cold-water plunge.
