Learn practical tips and tricks to boost your confidence in on-camera interviews.

Facilitated by J'Nel Buchy, Content Creator for the Video and Media team in Teaching and Learning Innovation.

Being interviewed on camera can be a daunting proposition. This workshop aims to best prepare interviewees to gain confidence for an on-camera interview with practical examples and scenarios (such as mock interviews and exemplar videos).

Intended learning outcomes

  • How to prepare and articulate your interview responses.
  • How to use body language to impact clear communication and audience engagement.
  • Hook, Bridge, Flag technique to handle any tricky interview questions.
  • Understand and practice different types of interviews in breakout rooms.

This workshop is for academics and researchers. No background knowledge or experience is required.
