5.2 Levelling up your editing

For your project, you may have needed to take multiple shots (or incorporate images, artwork, diagrams, or music) and assemble them together during the Deliver phase.

The University has currently endorsed the use of OpenShot to edit your work. This is a free, cross-platform (PC and Mac) Open Source application fit for basic video editing purposes.

Download and install onto your laptop or desktop via this link: https://www.openshot.org/download/

Note: Be sure you select the correct 'DOWNLOAD' for your operating system, and ignore all 3rd party software downloads during this process.

Training: If you would like to know more about how to use OpenShot, have a look at our Training page for DIY editing workshops each semester. We can also run this workshop if ten or more participants from your department are interested in doing it.
