Make a difference, help us to realise a positive planetary future

We are at a critical moment for the future of our planet. The University is continuing to lead on solutions to address the climate, energy and biodiversity crises facing the world, drawing on expertise that spans the breadth of our teaching and research.

Through excellence in research that is translated into decision-making, action and teaching, we are charting the path toward the future we seek: a positive planetary future by 2050.

We are developing solutions to halt and reverse the climate, energy and biodiversity crises through educating tomorrow’s leaders and workforce in climate biodiversity and energy; elevating Indigenous knowledge systems; developing new energy and transport technologies; and transforming finance, law, policy and governance – to name just some examples.

The University of Melbourne’s strength as Australia’s leading research and teaching university enables us to convene and influence at the highest level in the Indo-Pacific and globally. We are seeking the support of visionary donors to help us address the intersecting climate, energy and biodiversity crises.

We invite you to have a conversation with us to learn more about our vision and discuss how it might align with your areas of philanthropic interest.
