Car

Old Quad does not have designated parking. Parking is available at three car parks within the Parkville campus.

Train

The nearest train station is Parkville.

Tram

The nearest tram stops are Stop 1 Melbourne University on routes 1, 3, 3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 & 72 and Stop 12 Morrah Street & Royal Parade on route 19.

Bus

Routes 241, 402, 505 and 546 stop nearby on Grattan Street.

Bicycle

Bike parking hoops are available nearby at South Lawn and Union Lawn.

Limited bench seating is available in Old Quad.

A step-free, self-contained, all-gender toilet stall is available in addition to male and female ambulant stalls.

Hearing assistance technology

The exhibition space is equipped with infra-red hearing assistance, available during staffed events.

There is no vehicle access to Old Quad. Cars can stop nearby along Royal Parade or at The University of Melbourne Gate 1, corner of Swanston Street and Tin Alley for pick-up and drop-off.

Our gallery is a place where everyone has a right to an environment free of discrimination and harassment. Harassment includes behaviour that is unwelcome and that a reasonable person would consider offensive, intimidating or humiliating.

We will not tolerate behaviour that is discriminatory, offensive, abusive or threatening. Intrusive comments of a personal nature directed at our staff are not acceptable.

Anyone exhibiting these behaviours will be asked to stop or to leave. If there are safety concerns, staff will call University Security and, if appropriate, emergency services.
