The University of Melbourne’s Open Day program includes live online information sessions about our undergraduate degrees and majors, pre-recorded videos available on demand and small group tours on campus.

Hear from current students, ask academics questions and discover the hidden secrets of our campuses as part of the 2021 University of Melbourne Open Day program, which this year includes a range of online and on campus experiences across August and September.

This year’s program commences with Open Day Online, a series of live online information sessions this Sunday 22 August. With more than 60 live events, prospective students and their families can engage with academics and learn more about our undergraduate courses and majors, the future of work and the student experience at the University of Melbourne.

The exciting Open Day program also includes over 160 pre-recorded videos available on demand featuring student stories, bite sized academic lectures, student exhibitions and detailed information about our academic programs, accommodation and comprehensive student support services.

In mid-September, prospective students can discover the University’s campuses in person through small group tours, which will showcase the University’s purpose-built learning facilities, libraries, cafes and grounds at the Parkville, Southbank, Werribee and Dookie campuses.

Professor Gregor Kennedy, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) said the Open Day 2021 program will provide prospective students and their families an opportunity to hear about and experience life on campus.

“Open Day provides prospective students with an opportunity to explore more about what learning at the University of Melbourne has to offer – including the unique benefits of our distinctive curriculum, vibrant campus and student experiences, and proven career outcomes,” Professor Kennedy said.

“Our on-demand content will be available from 22 August for students to learn more about our courses and student services from wherever they are in the world – at a time that’s convenient to them.”

“We look forward to welcoming students and their families to the University of Melbourne – both online and through our on campus experiences later this year – and supporting them to explore what life and learning is like at Melbourne,” Professor Kennedy said.
