The MEC Student Incubator is a semester-long program for students ready to turn ideas into reality and meet the people who’ll help make it happen. Open to all University of Melbourne students, it’s a structured, hands-on experience built around the founder’s mindset: Curiosity, Resilience and Action.

What you'll do

Across fortnightly sessions, you’ll learn, build, and connect with a cohort of like-minded students to form teams, test ideas, and build relationships that can last well beyond the program. With access to resources, industry exposure, and the wider MEC community, it’s as much about who you build with as what you build.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or refining something already in motion, the MEC Student Incubator gives you the structure, support and momentum to stop thinking and start doing, and leave with a clearer idea, stronger network, and next steps to keep building.
