UniMelb Account for the future student events platform

This year, future student events will include a range of online and on campus experiences across August 2021 through February 2022.

Our exciting events program includes live online information sessions, pre-recorded videos available on demand and Explore Tours, where you'll have the opportunity to come on to campus in a small group.

UniMelb Account for MicroCert learners

Melbourne MicroCert learners gain access to library services once they have registered into their microcredential. Melbourne MicroCerts are small, highly accessible, assessed courses aligned to industry and workforce needs.

Password problems

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it for security reasons:

  1. Click Forgot password? on the sign in screen
  2. Enter your email address
  3. A reset link will be sent to your email
  4. Click on the Reset link
  5. Create a new password that meets the password criteria
  6. Click Update password
  7. Sign in using your email and updated password

My reset code doesn’t work?

Your reset code is only valid for 24 hours. If you haven’t reset your password within 24 hours you will need to reset your password again by following the steps above.

Profile and privacy

How do I edit my profile?

You can edit your profile by using the ‘Edit Profile’ option.

This will take you to a screen where you can:

  • Change your contact details (name, email and mobile number)
  • Update your password
  • Manage your privacy settings
  • Delete your account

What do you do with my personal information?

Problems logging in

I get a error message when I try to login

If your email and password don't match what is registered in the system you won’t be able to log in. Click Forgot password? and we’ll send you a password reset link.

If you have tried to log in incorrectly 4 times you will be locked out of your account for 3 minutes. Once the 3 minutes have passed you can try to log in again with the correct email address and password.

How long is my session valid for?

Once you have logged in to the event platform dashboard your session is valid for 24 hours. After this time, if you haven’t used your dashboard you’ll need to log in again.

I’m still having trouble signing in?

If you’re still having problems signing in or verifying your UniMelb account, you should contact the support centre.
