Current Phase
This year, the Practitioner’s Guide was released in February, along with the Second Edition of the Evidence to Action Conceptual Framework. The Evidence to Action (E2A) project is launching its Demonstrator Phase to apply the data management approach through a staged roll-out across the Fondation Botnar Cities’ portfolio. During this phase, the E2A Global Team to is collaborating with select Fondation Botnar Cities Portfolio Projects from two to three countries to implement the E2A Framework as an overlay to their existing project MEL plans. The purpose of this Demonstrator phase is to:
- Allow for a deeper engagement with Fondation Botnar’s implementing project partner participating in the demonstrator phase, building their capacity for implementing the E2A meta-learning framework.
- Test the implementation of E2A as an overlay to MEL activities of participating projects.
- Contribute to the E2A Global team’s understanding of the challenges and opportunities that are associated with the implementation of the E2A Framework in diverse urban as well as program and project contexts.
- Document overlaying the E2A Framework in a project DM&E cycle.
