About Yvonne

Yi (Yvonne) Yin is a graduate student in the Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences Program. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a double major in Economics and Finance (2021), and a Master’s degree in Finance (2023), both at the University of Melbourne. She also possesses experience in industry research, which is related to evaluating the disparity between risk and return in the fixed-income markets of Australia and the US. Outside of research, Yvonne has a keen interest in computer science and programming.

Yvonne’s current research interests include behaviour finance and using machine learning to deal with decision-making problems in the financial markets.
