About Michelle
Michelle is a PhD candidate in the Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences program in the Centre for Brain, Mind and Markets. She holds a Master of Commerce in Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours in Finance) from the University of Melbourne. Her experience spans portfolio risk management, academic research, and university-level teaching in finance and business analytics. She also served as President of the Faculty of Business and Economics PhD Student Society, contributing to the academic and social development of the PhD community.
Michelle uses behavioural and eye-tracking experiments to study how complexity affects decision-making, particularly in financial contexts, and how interventions can be designed to improve consumer outcomes.
