About Jedwin
Jedwin Villanueva is a graduate student in the Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences Program. He completed both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science coursework degrees at the University of Melbourne, focussing on areas of Mathematical Physics and Physics. This scientific background prepared him for research in quantum computation and algorithms.
His experience in quantum computation has led him to explore areas of combinatorial optimization and complexity where his current interest now lies. In addition, his strong foundation in mathematics and computer science has enabled him to investigate topics in machine learning, algorithmic trading, game theory amongst others. In particular, he is intrigued by the intersection of quantum computation with these fields.
