Self-Guided Campus Tour
Visitors to campus can download a self-guided walking tour map which provides you with a potted history of campus architecture and other landscape features. Stops are numbered and the tour takes about an hour to do. Audio files are also available for download. These complement the self-guided walking tour map.
Guided campus tours – Parkville campus
A free, one-hour guided tour of The University of Melbourne campus. Runs Mondays and Fridays at 10am, setting out from Gate 10 near the Grattan Street Visitor Centre. Our student ambassadors will help you explore our history and the major landmarks on our beautiful Parkville campus.
Founded in 1853 by an Act of the Victorian Parliament, the University of Melbourne is a thriving internationally acknowledged research University.
The University of Melbourne has one primary campus north of the Melbourne CBD and many other associated rural campuses.
We welcome Australian school groups to the Parkville campus for a University tour or talk at selected times during weekdays. More information
