Peter Woelert

Associate Dean (Graduate Research) and Associate Professor, Faculty of Education

Peter is an Associate Professor and, currently, the Associate Dean (Graduate Research) at the Faculty of Education, University of Melbourne. His main areas of research are higher education policy and governance, science policy, and the sociology of organisations. Much of his current research aims to further our understanding of new forms and dynamics of bureaucratisation within the university sector and the associated implications for administrative workloads. One of his particular interests in this regard concern the ways the digital transformation of university administration and governance interacts with bureaucratisation dynamics.
