AI, regardless of it is positive or negative is likely to have an impact on all Australians. Our research aims to foster an understanding of how AI can impact people in regional and remote communities. By communicating this impact to technology developers and policymakers it is hoped that people in these communities can better placed to take advantage of the benefits of AI, while mitigating adverse effects

After 3 years of research on AI and regional SMEs, the findings have been analysed and a set of recommendations for government, industry and SMEs produced. In keeping with the projects aim to reflect the voices of regional communities, I am seeking people who own, manage, work for or work with regional SMEs to provide feedback on these recommendations. You can do so by reading the report and completing an online feedback form or contacting me (susie.sheldrick@gmail.com) to arrange a 20 minute interview.
