Ethics and Governance of AI and LLMs with Prof Christoph Lütge

CAIDE was delighted to host Prof Christoph Lütge, Director of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence (IEAI) for a talk on 6 October 2025 exploring the current landscape of AI and LLM ethics, focusing on key issues such as bias and fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, and the societal impact of autonomous systems. Additionally, using case studies from the TUM Institute for Ethics in AI, the talk highlighted opportunities for responsible AI development, including frameworks for ethical design, governance models, and regulatory approaches that balance innovation with ethics.
