Update on proposed international student caps
The Australian Government's international student caps legislation has not been passed in Parliament. Currently, this means the proposed Australian mandated caps to international students do not apply.
The University will continue to operate within the policy settings of the Australian Government, and we are continuing to consult and advocate for our students in the formation of policy. The University deeply appreciates the immense contribution international students make to the social, intellectual and cultural life of our campuses and our cities.
Our admissions processes and entry requirements have not changed and remain as outlined on our website. We encourage all applicants and offer holders to proceed as usual.
As has always been the case, student demand and the number of places available in each course may influence the outcome of applications. We are committed to welcoming international students to our campuses and continuing to offer a world-class education to talented students from around the world - our focus on attracting the best and brightest students remains unchanged and we encourage prospective international students to apply to study with us.
We will continue to communicate any changes to all applicants and offer holders in a clear and timely manner. Please check this page regularly for updates.
