These Distracted Times: Music for Voices and Viols

This program will see a collaboration between the Conservatorium’s Early Voices vocal ensemble, directed by Stephen Grant, with the Consortium viol consort. The repertoire will feature English and continental composers of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in a stunning recital reflecting the rich musical traditions from those years of creativity and tumultuous social change.
