Our approach to delivering programs on campus
Rebuilding a vibrant campus for all
We have enjoyed welcoming many of our students to campus for the first time in 2022, and welcoming many others back, as we returned most of our teaching activities to campus.
We continue to carefully manage on-campus activities, guided by our agreed principles and priorities and COVIDSafe plans and settings, while also delivering a range of teaching and learning, research and support services online to ensure fair and equitable access for everyone.
We encourage everyone to get involved in campus life through our festival of activities and events, and explore new spaces like the Student Pavilion, Science Gallery and Melbourne Connect, and the drop-in study spaces and many other facilities on our campuses.
We will continue to monitor government and public health advice, and provide updates as needed.

Important reminders
- Please follow these guidelines when attending campus.
- Vaccination is our way out of the pandemic, and it’s something every one of us can do. We encourage you to get vaccinated at your earliest opportunity. More information, including how to book an appointment, is available on the Victorian Government’s coronavirus website. Our VaxFACTS videos also answer common questions and bust widely-shared myths about the vaccines.
- Please monitor the list of on-campus exposures, and follow Department of Health advice regarding self-isolation and testing. If you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, have any COVID-like symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, please follow the University's testing and notification process for COVID-19 to access support and advice.
- The University has a range of support services available to students and staff. Staff can also access a range of COVID‑19 related workplace entitlements.
