Information and advice regarding confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the University community and on-campus locations where there may be a risk of exposure to COVID-19

DO NOT COME TO CAMPUS IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS, including a fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, or loss or change in sense of taste or smell – however mild, even if you have a negative rapid antigen test result.

You may be able to study or work remotely during this time, but if you can’t the University offers a range of support services.

Health advice and support

The University urges any members of our community who are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, however mild, to seek advice and get tested. Symptoms include fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss or change in sense of taste or smell.

Please follow the latest Department of Health advice, call the Victorian COVID-19 hotline on 1800 675 398 OR call your GP and follow their advice.

Please also notify the University’s Public Health Network to access advice and support if you test positive for COVID-19, or are a household contact of someone with COVID-19.

You must fulfil the current requirements of the Victorian Government checklists for COVID contacts or cases and any University requirements before returning to campus.
