Social interaction

Theoretical and experimental research on neurocomputational mechanisms of human decision-making in social and non-social contexts

OVERVIEW

Human spend much of their waking hours inferring the mental states and intentions of other humans, and predicting their subsequent actions and behaviour. We aim to uncover the neural computations involved in social decision-making by combining functional magnetic resonance imaging and computational modelling of behavioural data.
