About Xiaping

Xiaping Lu is a PhD student in the Decision, Risk and Financial Sciences doctoral program. She graduated with a Master of Science in cognitive neuroscience from Beijing Normal University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from South China Normal University.

Xiaping’s research focuses on investigating the psychological and neural foundations of how people make choices during social interaction with an interdisciplinary perspective. Her past research was to explore the degree to which the intrinsic activity of human brain can predict social decision-making by recruiting resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) techniques and behavioural paradigms developed in experimental economics.
