Tim Brabazon holds the position of Director, Student Success at The University of Melbourne, and is responsible for the leadership, direction and delivery of a range of university-wide advisory and enabling services to the University’s 60,000 students.

This includes student advice, instructional skills, employment outcomes and study abroad and exchange programs, as well as an expanding suite of experiential learning opportunities. Tim’s portfolio also includes the Murrup Barak Melbourne Institute, the University’s institute for Indigenous development.

Prior to this role Tim was the School Executive Director of the Melbourne Graduate School of Education, during which time it rose to become Australia’s number-one school of education, and was ranked as high as number two globally, making it the leading faculty of any discipline in Australia on that measure (QS World University Rankings by Subject).

Tim has also worked internationally, having been based in Bangkok, Thailand for a number of years prior to joining the University of Melbourne in 2006.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of International Business from the University of Canberra.
