John has a wealth of professional experience spanning diverse fields, including health and medical research, strategic consulting, data analytics, and policy advisory, with a focus on life sciences, health, aging, education, technology, and innovation. He has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, having worked with startups, private companies, government agencies, and research institutions in Australia and internationally. John is passionate about promoting positive and impactful change through innovative thinking and collaboration.
As a member of the Alumni Council, John is committed to fostering alumni connectedness at The University of Melbourne. He has held several leadership roles, representing and engaging student and alumni communities, including serving as the Graduate Representative on the Melbourne University Discipline Committee, President of the MBS Student Representative Council, President of the MBS Finance Club, and Vice President of the Future Founders Club.
John holds a PhD in Medicine from The University of Melbourne and is completing an MBA at Melbourne Business School. He is an active member of several professional societies, including the Melbourne Startup Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, Australian Evaluation Society, and Committee for Economic Development of Australia.
