Ms Amanda Davidson OAM
Council member
BCom (1985), LLB (1985)

Amanda is a highly motivated individual who brings a diverse range of skills and knowledge to the Alumni Council.

She has strong links with the Australian and international business community, having practised as a lawyer in leading firms in Australia and offshore over the past 30 years. Her specialisation has been in the construction and infrastructure industries.

Amanda has a particular interest in women’s health, and in 2002 she established and chaired PEARLS - a non-profit organisation dedicated to funding medical research into preeclampsia, a condition of high blood pressure in pregnancy. She was awarded the Order of Australia in 2015 in recognition of this work.

She looks forward to applying her skills, knowledge, and local and international business connections to assist the University, students and alumni in their studies and career ambitions, and to assist in developing further connectivity between the University and its alumni in these challenging times.
