Dr Rachel Baird

Rachel Baird is a Senior Legal Project Manager at Clayton Utz (Brisbane) and works nationally to support practice groups and clients. Rachel undertook her PhD in International Environmental Law (marine resources management) with Professor Gillian Triggs and started her board career in 2005 serving on faculty committees. Her governance experience includes university committees, not- for-profit, school and sporting boards. She also has extensive experience in corporate governance working with boards and advising on disclosure obligations.

To help create a vibrant university environment, Rachel encourages engagement with alumni who are champions of lifelong learning. She would also like to strengthen the communications between alumni and is committed to ensuring access to quality education in Australia.
