Search engines

Introduction to search engines

Enable web users to find your site more easily by submitting its homepage URL to the university's search engine, ultraseek.

If your primary audience is outside the university, consider registering your site with external search engines and directories. Contact the Media and Publication Services Office for more information on paid search engine registration.

After registering your site, search for it. Looking at your search results will reveal whether you need to conduct search engine optimisation so that your site ranks higher in search results.
