Accessibility tools
The following tools can be used to check webpage accessibilty. Note that the following links point to external websites.
- Bobby - a free service to allow you to test web pages and help expose and repair barriers to accessibility and encourage compliance with existing accessibility guidelines
- The Wave - a free service which analyses the accessibility of a webpage
- W3C Markup Validation Service - a free service that checks documents like HTML and XHTML for conformance to W3C Recommendations and other standards
- W3C CSS Validation Service - a free service that checks Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in (X)HTML documents or standalone for conformance to W3C recommendations
- VisCheck - information about colour-blindness and a web-based tool that shows how colour-blind people perceive your webpage or photo
- NILS Web Accessibility Toolbar - a free accessibility checking tool that works on Windows in Internet Explorer
- Mozilla Web Developer extension - a free web development and accessibility checking tool that works in Mozilla
