Web Forum email discussion list

The web-forum@unimelb email discussion list is a forum for networking with other web staff across the University, and for promoting good practice in web development and management.

Staff interested in University web activities and networking with other web staff are welcome to subscribe. Anyone can view the Web Forum mail archives.

The list is not moderated. Almost any web-related topic can be raised and explored on the list. This means discussion is allowed to run freely and sometimes gets quite lively.

Members of the Web Forum list meet regularly for the web cuppa.

How to subscribe to the Web Forum list

To join web-forum@unimelb, send an email message to mailserv@unimelb.edu.au with two words in the body:

subscribe web-forum

Remember to turn off your signature before clicking 'send'.

How to send messages (post) to the list

Once you have subscribed successfully, you will be able to send messages to the list.

Send your posts to:

web-forum@unimelb.edu.au

(not to the mailserv@unimelb address).

Make sure you read the tips for the Web Forum discussion list before sending messages.

How to unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from web-forum@unimelb, send an email message to mailserv@unimelb.edu.au with two words in the body:

unsubscribe web-forum
