Advanced Administrative Law 730-411 Victorian AIAL Administrative Law Essay Prize
Donor: The Victorian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Administrative Law (AIAL).
Eligibility: Students who have completed either Advanced Administrative Law (730-411) or Migration Law (730-464). Please note that these subjects are offered on a rotational basis.
Selection Criteria: Awarded for the best essay in an Administrative Law topic in either of the above subjects. Please note that the journal reports that form part of the assessment in both the above subjects are not regarded as full essays and will not be considered in the awarding of this Prize.
Special Conditions: The winning essay will be submitted to the AIAL Forum, the AIAL's periodical, for consideration for publication. The Prize will be presented at the AIAL's AGM in September, hence nominations from the Second Semester will be held over till 1 July. If both Advanced Administrative Law and Migration Law are offered in any year, then the Prize will be awarded in Advanced Administrative Law. If it is not possible to distinguish between two or more outstanding papers, then the Prize may be shared and each paper will be submitted to the AIAL Forum.
