| Graduate Environmental Program | Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand Air and Environment Award Donor: Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) Eligibility: Student must be enrolled in one of the following subjects in the Graduate Environmental Program: Sustainability, Policy and Management (950-601), Epidemiology and Health Impacts (505-932), Environmental Risk Assessment (950-603/600-604) or Environmental Research Projects (950-611/950-612). Selection Criteria: Awarded to the student with the highest mark in a research essay in one of the five subjects, as decided each year by a panel of lecturers and the Director of the Office of Environmental Programs (OEP) in conjunction with a representative of CASANZ. Special Conditions: The focus of the student's interests must be in air quality or related issues such as green house or indoor air quality. |

| Graduate Environmental Program | The Passionfoods Sustainable Food Systems Prize Donor: Passionfoods Australia Pty Eligibility: Student must be enrolled in (950-601) Sustainability, Policy and Management And/or (208-502) Selection Criteria: The prize will be given to a research essay written as part of the assessment for (950-601)or (208-502). Criteria for the essay prize will be distributed to all students. Students may nominate that they wish their essay to be considered for the prize. The winner will be the student who, in the opinion of the panel, has contributed most to the understanding of the sustainable food production supply and demand chain. |

| Graduate Environmental Program | Quin Environmental Agriculture and Clean Water Prize Donor: Quin Environmentals Pty Eligibility: Student must be enrolled in (950-601) Sustainability, Policy and Management And/or (208-502) Substainable Food and Fibre. Selection Criteria: The prize will be given to a research essay written as part of the assessment for (950-601)or (208-502). Criteria for the essay prize will be distributed to all students. Students may nominate that they wish their essay to be considered for the prize. Awarded to the student who has contributed most to the understanding of how fertiliser use and/or land application of waste can be managed so as to simultaneously improve the efficiency of nutrient uptake and minimize any adverse environmental effects. |
