University Members

One member of the Melbourne Graduate School of Education appointed
annually by the Graduate School
One member of the Faculty of Arts appointed annually by the Faculty of Arts
The President of UMSU or nominee
The President of GSA or nominee

Melbourne College of Divinity Members
Four members appointed annually by the College

2.         Chairperson

The Committee shall be chaired by a person determined by Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.

3.         Quorum

A quorum for the committee is 3 or 20% of the current membership, whichever is greater.

4.         Terms of Reference

Pursuant to Clause 10 of the Affiliation Agreement —

A co-ordinating committee (“the Committee”) is to be established from time to time by the University Council.  Membership of the Committee is to be agreed between the parties to this Agreement and the chairperson of the Committee, at any time, is to be determined by the Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.  The Committee may meet as often as it considers necessary to discuss matters of joint significance and concern but it must meet at least once in each calendar year.

… the Committee may consider and make recommendations to the University and the College on any academic matter associated with co-operative undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research activities between the University and the College.

5.         Frequency of Meetings

The Committee shall meet at least once per calendar year.

6.         Secretariat

The Academic Secretary, or nominee, will provide secretariat support to the committee.
