Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) or Pro Vice-Chancellor (Teaching, Learning and Equity)
Professor of Australian Indigenous Studies
Up to five academic staff teaching in Indigenous Studies programs at the University of Melbourne (nominees of the President, Academic Board)
Nominee of the Director, Centre for Indigenous Education
One Indigenous undergraduate student (representative of MUSU elected by Indigenous undergraduate students)
One Indigenous postgraduate student (representative of UMPA elected by Indigenous postgraduate students)

  1. Chairperson

President, Academic Board or, if the President appoints a nominee to the Sub-Committee, that nominee.

  1. Terms of Reference

3.1 To foster the development of innovative undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate academic programs of the highest quality and standards.

3.2 To monitor the delivery of and student satisfaction with academic programs with an Indigenous Studies focus, noting the inter-departmental and cross-faculty teaching in many such programs.

3.3 To liaise with the Centre for Indigenous Education on matters affecting the success of Indigenous students in their academic programs.
